In an unusual move NIXI, the Indian Registry for .IN domain names now does not allow registration of any name with "Bharat" in it . Although many current private companies have websites which use them, any future businesses or entities will not be allowed to register them. Pretty unusual move, no public announcement yet . Remember this affects all .IN domain extensions. So if you know of anyone starting a business with "Bharat", tough luck in using an Indian domain extension.
